Yakouta (Arabic: ياقُوتة) is a theater piece in Tunisian Arabic written and performed by Leila Toubel. It premiered on October 7, 2021 at El Teatro, in Tunis, Tunisia.
After Solwen And Hourya, Leila Toubel continues in the genre of monodrama, but this time she addresses the condition of women through the story of a wife who is kidnapped and violated by her husband while she longs to find the daughter she abandoned. This is a new collaboration with Mehdi Trabelsi, who composed the original music.
